Jet Airways, in order to improve the connectivity of Gulf to Delhi and Mumbai, has decided to start daily flights to Dubai from the two metros. The service will commence from August 23, 2008.

Reliance Power Ltd. plans to raise about US $ 2.5 billion through India's largest rupee-denominated loan this year to fund a power project, two bankers familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

Foreign co-pilots will be allowed to work for Indian carriers for two more years as per a directive of the industry regulator, the directorate general of Civil Aviation (DGCA), a top official said.
